- Windsor Lake Pisiquid NOTE The area shown (between the Hwy 1 bridge and the 101 causeway) is NOT the place to skate. It is always open under the bridge, and a strong current weakens the ice through this section. Skate on the other side of the bridge, from Falmouth boat landing.

Kennebecasis Bay/River at ferry crossing Summerville-Millidgeville (Saint John) This area was famous for long-distance skating in the late 19th century, the "Long Reach" speeds skates were invented here, and several world-class racers (Hugh McCormick, William Whelpley, Fred Breen) lived on the islands.
